The Black Public Relations Society of Washington DC

Since its founding in 1987, the National Black Public Relations Society (NBPRS) has served as an advocate for black professionals in public relations, media relations, corporate communications, investor relations, government affairs, community relations, and related fields.

Since 1993, BPRS-DC has united to increase the active participation and employment of African-Americans in the professional practice and study of Public Relations by providing educational and professional development, mentoring and networking opportunities, as well as creating alliances with other professional organizations and recognizing accomplished leaders and professionals in the industry.
